Afro Hair Project & Film

An exploration of the history of afro hair and hair discrimination

The artwork reflects the experiences of young people, celebrates the beauty of afro-hair and challenges the way society views afro-hair. We also produced a film in collaboration with Bollo Brook Youth Centre exploring those experiences. The film was shown as part of an exhibition at the V&A.
