This film, co-produced at all stages with young people, gives a rare and nuanced insight into the complex realties of growing up in our unequal capital today. The film draws on the lived experiences of young people from West London and was made in collaboration with young people and youth workers from Bollo Brook Youth Centre. In an attempt to find a place, they can call their own, a group of 4 young boys find an abandoned flat in a block in West London. The film has been nominated to several world-renown film festivals and 8 young people gained work experience in the industry.
Peer-Led Research into Mental Health
During the COVID-19 pandemic, young people conducted peer-led research in the community to understand the 'Impact of COVID-19 on Mental Health in Young People', these interviews have been captured in this podcast accompanied by music made my young people during the lockdown. Have a listen here:
